Week of the Young Child

Lots going on this week!!


By now, you may have heard the news.... there will be a new addition to the Datzman household coming this September! The kiddos were surprised this week with a "Mystery Box". They had to guess why there was a baby doll in there. :) They had lots of fun guessing and I have already had many name recommendations (i.e. Tony Stark)!!


This week is The Week of the Young Child and we will be celebrating by participating with a Spirit Week. The spirit days are as follows:

Monday- Rock Star Day

Dress like a Rock Star, don’t forget to put some gel in your Mohawk!

Tuesday- Workout Day

Wear your fitness gear and be ready to break a sweat!

Wednesday- Worker Day

Wear the uniform of your favorite community helper!

Thursday- Made By Me Day

                                                                    Show off a handmade creation!


                                                                                  
                                                                                    Friday- Luau Day


                                                                           Break out the tie dye shirts!

- Be sure to send in your "Favorite Family Activity" page! We will be displaying these in the classrooms!
-  Kasey the Fire and Safety dog will be visiting us on Tuesday, April 14!
-  Snacks with Students will be this Thursday (16th) and Friday (17th)! If you have signed up please be sure that you have a current BACKGROUND CHECK ON FILE!!! This is very important as you will need it to enter the classroom and participate! Due to licensing regulations and district policy, siblings will not be allowed to attend this event.
-  Spring Pictures will be this Friday, April 17th. Please be sure to send in your check and the order form. Your child will need this in order for their picture to be taken. If your child attends T/Th, they may be brought in anytime during school hours to have their photograph taken.
-  SPRING FLING has finally arrived! Please join us Friday, April 17th for the BECC First Annual Spring Fling. The event is a Carnival theme and we will be having food, games, a silent auction, and more! This is sure to be a fun filled evening and we cant wait to see you all there!
-  This week we will also be creating a school-wide art project that will be displayed in the refreshments area at Spring Fling! :)
-  As you all know, we use sticker charts for our behavior management. I am running dangerously low on the small reward stickers! For some reason, I cannot seem to find any at any of the stores. If you are out and about and happen to run into some, we would truly appreciate the donation!!!
