Leaves!

"The Leaves are Falling Down!"


This week we will be talking about leaves! We will begin with a Leaf Hunt! Your kiddos will be "hunting" for the colored and lettered leaves around the building. As they find the leaves they will have to color them the corresponding color. SOOO fun!
We will also get a head start on patterning. Your kids will be copying and extending leaf patterns! As a large group activity we will create a class mural of leaf rubbings!
We have lots in store for this very busy week!


Linking home and school:
--- Discuss with your child about words that remind them of Fall. We will be making a daily list of some of the words; leaves, pumpkins, apples, Halloween, windy, chilly, etc.


Parent Teacher Conferences are this week! Be sure to check your time HERE! Please arrive 5 minutes early so that we can keep things rolling! To be respectful of everyone's time I will be setting a timer. This will help us all stay on track. :) I can't wait to tell you all of the wonderful things your children have been doing!
