Dinosaurs

Good Morning!


This week is all about dinosaurs! We will be learning a lot of new vocabulary and we will be taking data on student participation. As a large group activity we will work on location words with dinosaur toys and we will count to see how many shoes it takes to fill a dinosaur foot! You may also hear all about our new sensory table contents: a Dino Dig!


Last week's data collection over sorting was great! I was very, very impressed with the improved skills the kiddos showed me!


Thanks so much for all of the wonderful family photos. Our family wall looks super! Also, thank you to everyone who stepped in to volunteer/ donate for our Valentine Party. We are completely covered for party planners and party volunteers. I am very lucky to have such involved families!


Lots and lots of reminders this week:
- Pee Winkles will be here tomorrow, Thursday, January 22 at 9:30 and 1:30 at the Central Office. If your child does not attend on Thursdays, you are more than welcome to bring them and attend the show. We ask that if you are attending apart from the school, you sit in the designated section.
-  We are still in need of items for our spring fling basket! Our theme is sports/fitness/wellness. Examples of items would be: sports balls, yoga mat, icy hot patches, gym memberships, headbands, sweat bands, towels, weights, work out videos, sports drinks, etc. I will be providing a gym bag as the "basket" that the items will be held in. I am looking forward to this! I know it will be a great fundraiser for the school!
- Dine to Donate at Scotty's is Tuesday January 27! Be on the look out for fliers!
- Pre-K parents: Is your child "graduating" this May? We are in need of small, plain white t-shirts for a project that we will have the kiddos complete for the "big day"! If you could please send in one, that would be great! If you happen to  pick up a pack of 3, we will be in need of donations as well.
