Happy New Year!
I hope you all enjoyed the holidays with you family!


We are going to spend this week getting back into a routine and do a little reviewing. We will start the week with pre-writing strokes. If you would like to have a copy of these please let me know! We will also begin our next lesson of the "I am A Good Friend" series. This week we will read and discuss using a good voice. I will be introducing  a Volume Level Chart that we will begin using in class. This chart ranges from 1-Blue (Voice Off) to 3-Yellow (Nice Voice, Table Talk) to 5-Red (Outside Voice). We will read a story about a lion (loud) voice and mouse (quiet) voice and discuss times of our day when each voice is appropriate.


I am almost finished (YAY!) with progress reports. I will be sending these home as I finish them. If you have any questions or concerns do not hesitate to email or call me! I am more than happy to discuss this past quarter with you over the phone, in person, or by email. :)


Important Info:
-- Will your child be Graduating Pre-K this May? If so, we are in need of white, Adult Small t-shirts for all children. Please provide one for your child. If you are able to donate a pack of 2-3, it would be much appreciated by all!
-- Progress Reports will be sent out this week. Keep a look out!
-- Jan. 6 and 8 - there will be a BCSC community meeting open to the public in the BHS auditorium at 6:30pm. Come learn about all the great things happening in the corporation!
-- There will be a PSG meeting on Jan. 14th here at the BECC at 6:30pm. Everyone is welcome and we'd love to see you there!
-- Pee Winkles will be performing on Jan. 22nd at the Central Office at 9:30 and 1:30. This is a Thursday, if your child does not attend this day you may bring them. Please keep in mind that if you are bringing your child because they do not attend on Thursdays, they need to accompanied by an adult. Siblings are allowed as well!
-- Jan. 27th is PSG's Dine to Donate at Scotty's Brewhouse!
