The countdown begins...
This week we will be talking all about the holidays! Your children will talk about Christmas traditions, Kwanzaa, and Hanukkah. We will also be working on a small gift for them to give to someone special! :)
We will finish this week's data collection of following directions and begin Round 2 of Pre-Writing Strokes. If you would like to practice pre-writing while on break I would love to send home a practice page for you... just send me a quick e-mail!
There is A LOT going on here at the BECC:
- Today is the Butter Braid pick up here at the school from 4:30-6!
- Dine to Donate at Rock Star Pizza, tomorrow December 16! A flyer will be sent home with your child. Make sure my name is on the back when you turn it in. Winning teacher gets a prize! :)
- Piper has found a home for Winter Break! Thank you so much! :)
- PSG is in need of some assistance for the teacher work room on Fridays. If you would like to help e-mail Amy Huang at amyk6282@hotmail.com
- The next PSG meeting will be January 14 in the BECC Large Conference Room. We would love to see new faces there!
- Pee Winkles will be preforming on January 22 at 9:30 and 1:30 at the c/o. If your child does not attend school this day feel free to bring your child and enjoy the show!
- We will begin planning for Spring Fling - be on the lookout for more information!
Making a Connection:
I have added a new Science area to our classroom. I have provided the kiddos with natural items to investigate, magnifying glasses, and a scale to practice balance and weight.
