Brown Bear, Brown Bear

I cannot stop bragging about the kiddos in my class! You have such great children and I am so excited to have them all this year!


We are really getting into a routine here at the BECC. Last week we finished up with letter recognition and we will ALWAYS continue to work on it. Be sure to talk to your children about letter sounds too. This week we will be finishing up our first week of counting and number recognition. We will also begin reading the book Brown Bear, Brown Bear and end the week discussing colors and shapes. To extend this we will work on descriptive words (i.e. the big, red circle).


Just a few reminders:
 - Scholastic orders need to be made online by Friday, August 29.
 - School Pictures will be held on September 18 & 19. If you order Fall photos you will receive a class composite. Order forms will be sent out this week.
 - Pup Strut is being held on Oct. 2 & 3.
 - Please be sure to check your child's folder! We are always sending goodies home!
