Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, Guess what's going on in our room!
Letters, Letters, and MORE Letters!
This week we will be talking about the alphabet. We will start the week off by reading and listening to the book Chicka Chicka Boom Boom by Bill Martin Jr. In small groups we will be matching upper case letters. We will also work on our number recognition by counting the number of coconuts and matching them to the correct numeral. During the second part of the week we will use stamps (the kids LOVE the stamps) to make our names. I will also be introducing the sensory table this week. The kiddos will explore with rice and letters! **I am assuming that the rice supply will diminish quickly. If you would like to send in DRY rice, it would be much appreciated! :)**
Also, Ms. Gabrielle (AM High School Students) will be teaching her first small group this Friday!
We have a lot in store for this week!
