This week we will be celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday by participating in LOTS of activities that have to do with his books!
Some of the activities will include sorting Goldfish into their colored tanks and going "fishing", counting the dots, and placing the fish in the right bowl. We will also be working with sorting and counting color pom poms onto truffala trees!
We will be collecting data on book skills this week. The PreK goal is to make a prediction about a story being read. The preschool goal is to identify pictures in a story. We will end the week collecting data on patterns. :)
Important Info:
- This week is the annual Coin War fundraiser for the BECC Relay for Life team! Please send in any lose change throughout the week. Your child will be able to write their name on a "footprint" that will be displayed throughout the building!
- If you have not returned your form for your plans for the 2015-2016 school year, please be sure to get them in as soon as possible to reserve a space for your child!
- The PSG will be holding their Spring Book Fair on March 16-20. Books will be displayed throughout the hallways available for purchase!
- Snacks with students is on March 17th. This is an opportunity for parents to join their students during snack time! Unfortunately, we will be unable to accommodate for siblings to join us for this event. This will also be an opportunity for you to check out the book fair with your child! :) Mark it on your calendar and be on the lookout for more information!
- March 16-20 will also be BECC Spirit Week! The spirit days are as follows:
Monday: BLUE DAY
Tuesday: GREEN DAY
Wednesday: ORANGE DAY
Thursday: PINK DAY
Friday: PURPLE DAY
- March 23 - April 3 is SPRING BREAK! School will resume on April 6th! Enjoy the time with your family.... I know that I am really looking forward to that Florida weather! :)
