I'm Back! Thank you for your kind wishes and thoughts while I was out with my precious baby girl! I enjoyed every snuggle, but now I'm ready to finish out this school year strong!
This week we will be doing some Fall related activities as well as having our Fall Parties!! On Monday and Tuesday we will be working with Apple Pie Playdough. The kiddos were really excited about this during the morning session so I thought I would share the recipe with you!

1 cup of flour
1/2 cup salt
2 tbsp. of cream of tarter
2 tbsp. of vegetable oil
1 tbsp. of apple pie spice (you could also use pumpkin pie spice)
Add all dry ingredients first, stirring them over medium heat until combined. Add the remaining ingredients and continue to stir over medium heat until the mixture forms a ball. Remove from heat. Allow to cool for a few minutes. Spend some time kneading the dough (I had to add a little more flour here) until a consistent color is reached. Now you can play!

We will also be finishing up the second round of pattern data collection! Make this a fun activity at home using coins that are lying around!
