August 31 - September 4

Good Morning!

We will be finishing our second week of counting data collection on Wednesday of this week! We will then begin to collect data on WH- questions. For preschool kiddos we will ask them a series of 3 sets of questions: 'what', 'who', and 'where. Pre-K kiddos will have a series of 4 questions to answer: 'what', 'who', 'where', and 'when'.

This week we will begin by participating in a "Feelings Activity"! Your child will come home with a short book from Scholastic about our feelings at school. We will talk about how we feel today and what makes us feel a certain way. We will also be reading a section of the story Ten Apples Up on Top. We will focus on details from the story by working on our story recall skills!

New letters (M, N, O, and P) to our Action Alphabet Song will be added this week also! So far we have the following:

A for Apple
B for Bounce
C for Cut
D for Dig
E for Elbow
F for Fly
G for Gallop
H for Hop
I for Itch
J for Jump
K for Kick
L for Lick
